Military/Civil mood for Attack/Defense calculation

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how is the effect of Military mood on Defense/Offense calculated? If the military mood is at X%, does it mean the offense/defense is increased X%?
Does the Civil mood also effect same way?

I know the effects of Military/Civil mood but need the formula on how they affect the Defensive/Offensive power. Can anyone help me out with the same!
