What is going with science? I have 6,000 thievery scrolls and it says that I have +30% in thievery. BUT I have 11,000 scrolls in housing and it says that I have +30% capicity too. :( Help manual says that I would have +50%. Is this machine broken??? My race is human, thanks for the answers... :)

Science help says:

"Normally, all areas have a maximum of 30%. There are exceptions though, see: Races help and Personalities help. For example, if your race is Gnome, you can reach a maximum of 50% in all areas. If you have more scrolls that are needed for a given maximum percentage, you will still not be able to achieve more than the maximum."

Humans have no special abilities for science, so their maximum remains 30%.

The Sage personality could add another 5%:

"Sage They write scrolls 10% cheaper and in their sciences the maximum value is 5% higher than normal, except for the area of housing, where no bonus is added."

If your personality is not Sage, you will not get this either, and the maximum will be 30%.

Only Gnomes can upgrade themselves to +50% in science.
Most of races limited at 30%.

So..
Gnome - 50%
Half-elf, Giant - 40%
Human, Elf, Ork, Dwarf - 30%
Undead - 0%

In housing science.

All other basic science maximum can be upgrade +5% with Sage personality.

Yes, but you should have some banks and defense. More money = more thievery actions and attacks against you. ;)

Of course... I will be rich and a lot of swiss banks will protect my money... ;)

at the 5. level :
0-300 hectar - 5 banks
301-600 hectar - 10 banks

Upper levels or more hectars you should have 15 banks. 15 banks is enough all the english groups (anarch and normal too)!!
