game is vicious.

It seems that this is a game that has a tight clique of players that want to make the game non-fun for new players... I can't seem to survive because people are constantly stealing everything, attacking me and sending plague and drought spells at me. I am in the lowest level and have mostly tried to mind my own business to no avail. It is a losing battle as I can't build my defense as fast as others can knock it down :(

I guess I should have learned to speak Hungarian before trying to play this game. Oh well. there are other games...

Not sure why you need to learn Hungarian, this is an English-language game. If someone talks to you in another language, feel free to report it, the appropriate sanctions will be taken.

If you beleive that there is someone, or several players, who do nothing but attack new players, please e-mail support@queosia.com, with your country details, so we can check the events. If we DO find players whose only aim is to make life harder for others, they will be deleted.

laci 10-08-2006 19:52

Why dont you ask help from players who know the game a bit better? There are always friendly ones... Under "help" i mean advices about how to build a country which is able to defend itself.

Remedy 10-08-2006 20:51

Of course we are here to help. Just ask! Revenge will taste good :)

Senki 10-10-2006 05:55

I'm just reassuring you that Laci and Remy speaks right :D you can ask anything here in PM or post your question freely :D

Yep

The most vicious part to me is figuring out how the houses versus buildings really work.

As a building will not work at all if it is not completely full,
So a barrack of soldiers is worthless if it is short I soldier.
So a store is worthless if it is short 1 employee.
The numbers are almost impossible to balance.

Also confused as to were the soldiers come from,
Do they come out of the Villagers or are they just created as additional population.

This games rules are quite confusing to English speaking players.

not exactly: it will not work, if there is not enough worker for it, e.g. 15/building

No, if you have 40 place in a barrack, and you have 14 in it, those will fight in case of battle. On the other hand, if you are short of workers, and barracks are set low priority, those 14 soldiers will leave service, and go back to normal villager.

as they are changing round by round, yes it is almost impossible. but you can live with that, you can have a short margin for natural changes, and maybe a bit higher for accidents (enemy actions)

training is from normal villagers to soldiers, and from soldiers to higher ranks (or thieves/mages)

hm, after starting this new topic, i would like to start a fresh new country to TEST the queosia at low level.

i made a tempting dwarf country, i expected for many stealing. but the story what the topic starter wrote here is absolutely true! there are evil players who just ruin the new countries.

after the protection i had 430 elits, 300 mages, 100 thieves, 100% military mood for 200 acres, i think it is not a bad start.

the expiration of protection was in the morning: 2007-09-11 05:18:11, and after 20 minutes (!) i got the first attack: "Storms devastate your lands for 36 rounds." unbelievable. of course i had no chance to dispel this curse.

here is the most important events first 28 hour in chronological order:

2007-09-11 05:18:11 END OF PROTECTION

2007-09-11 05:37:35 Storms devastate your lands for 36 rounds. The spell came from below, from a distance of 2 - 7 rounds.

2007-09-11 10:18:11 xxxxx (#00000) looted zzzzz (#99999) .
2007-09-11 10:18:11 xxxxx (#00000) looted zzzzz (#99999) .

2007-09-11 21:18:13 yyyyy (#11111) looted zzzzz (#99999) .
2007-09-11 21:18:13 yyyyy (#11111) looted zzzzz (#99999) .
2007-09-11 21:18:14 yyyyy (#11111) looted zzzzz (#99999) .
2007-09-11 21:18:14 yyyyy (#11111) looted zzzzz (#99999) .

2007-09-12 05:13:40 Drought is upon your lands for 26 rounds. The spell came from below, from a distance of 2 - 7 rounds.
2007-09-12 05:13:12 Storms devastate your lands for 36 rounds. The spell came from below, from a distance of 2 - 7 rounds.

2007-09-12 06:18:12 rrrrr (#22222) looted zzzzz (#99999) .
2007-09-12 06:18:12 rrrrr (#22222) looted zzzzz (#99999) .

2007-09-12 08:18:12 yyyyy (#11111) looted zzzzz (#99999) .
2007-09-12 08:18:12 yyyyy (#11111) looted zzzzz (#99999) .
2007-09-12 08:18:12 yyyyy (#11111) looted zzzzz (#99999) .

and of course there is no point to loot somebody with 3 or 4 armies, because they take the last crumb too.

theese countries are hyenas, and they want to crush the fresh started countries. ok, loot a country, but why with 3-4 armies. and why need the curses? for one thing: trampling the noobs into the mud.

but i cant continue my test, because i made a mistake. i saw the incoming armies today morning and i sent out the remnant elites against another country just for saving them from the wastage. but i didnt loot, i conquered some acres, and i am too far at this moment from theese countries. so, i have to stop after the 28 hours.

but the result is obvious, i think. so, ati, the problem is real.

You started your message by quoting me, stating that you should write to the support address when you notice such events. I even gave you the support address, in case you can't find in on teh game homepage. I don't believe ever saying you should write to the forum about this.

So, I wonder..., have you written to the support address?

Smooth Scroller 09-12-2007 08:24

hehe, and another thing:

2007-09-12 09:18:11 nnnnn (#8607) looted zzzzz (#99999) .
2007-09-12 09:18:11 nnnnn (#8607) looted zzzzz (#99999) .
2007-09-12 09:18:11 nnnnn (#8607) looted zzzzz (#99999) .

:)

i will erase this test country. i saw enough.

ati, i dont want to send a message to the support. i just wrote an interesting thing about this problem. but ok, i end this right now.

And you still have not written to the support address, as I asked originally.

Thought so.

Smooth Scroller 09-12-2007 08:38

i could not see your message while i was typing my 2nd message. i dont understand the 2 red to me. i am not the "enemy", or the bad one who ruins the life of the noobs, but i gave the punishment. ati, was it so rightful?
dont distress on me, that was just a test. please remove my penalties.

What penalties?

I clearly told you what to do in cases like this, you even quoted it (!), yet you do the exact opposite. Twice.

answer for #8

The harmfull spells coming from below. As I see if you had this army (300 archers
400 mages 100 thiefs) you had to had about 3000 people living in your country, I don't have to mention that such a great number of villigers are able to serve a country on 300 acres. I understand that this dwarf was just a test, but starting a new country won't be easy for anyone. I play with a dwarf in Queosia, to tell the truth about 1000 rounds left since I registered. Back than - because it was an unknown terrain for me - I stayed low in the score - I had about 100 acres barren land - untill I was strong enough to move forward. When you have your 200 acres full after you came out of deffense you have to deal with the by you mentioned agressors. When you take your time on the lower sections and arrive with max scrolls army etc. on 200 acres these hyenes won't be able to cause you trouble. I think these agressive acts can happen any of the other versions of Queosia even in the hungarian version. This is the way I see it....

I agree with you. But when i started queosia, i had to register a second country, cause sb slaughtered my country many times. second time i'm do the same as you.
A new player won't register a new country, or a new player haven't any experience that he can protect his country from these hyenas.

True True! I guess that is the most important, wich will (or couses) cause many headache for the owners, because under such circium stences it won't be easy to fill up the groups/levels. But I trust the community, and I want to believe that the above mentioned attacks are not 24/7 activities in Queosia!

Come on, with 300 archers you can't suvive in this game. Before your 72 hour of protection ends, you'll have to got at least 1 thousand archer, same with wisards and 500 thiefs. If you dont have it before time you'll lost in this game. Beeing a sucker is not an execuse. :)

I'd love to see how you make that many units within 72 hours...

Swiss 09-23-2007 10:28

133 houses 8333 people full scrolls.....

Is there something that I missed?

3500 weapons

It has to be a bad joke!
